An extraordinary opportunity to work on this exceptional home from its very inception, this project was practically a new build situated just a few doors from Black Rock beach. Designed with mid-century modern inspiration, the home boasts an abundance of natural light and expansive open spaces that epitomise contemporary coastal living.

The journey began with close collaboration with the architect on the design of the home, ensuring every detail reflected both the aesthetic and functional needs of the home. From selecting finishes and furniture alongside the clients to overseeing the final touches in styling, the process was an immersive and rewarding experience.

Every element of the interior was carefully curated to align with the minimal yet inviting aesthetic of the brief. Meticulously selected furniture that balanced clean lines with comfort and practicality, and chose artwork that added personality and depth to the spaces. To further elevate the design, I traveled as far as India to create bespoke rugs, hand-selecting premium materials and colors to ensure they harmonized perfectly with the overall palette.

The result is a stunning home with a minimal aesthetic that perfectly aligns with the brief while offering warmth and practicality for a young family. The spaces flow seamlessly, embodying the balance of form and function, and are a true reflection of mid-century modern elegance tailored to modern family living.
